Vatthu Gāthā

The introductory stanzas (976‑1031) of the Parāyana, which give the story of Bāvarī, the circumstances that led to his sending his students to the Buddha, and their journey to Rājagaha (SN., pp.190‑7).

The Cūḷaniddesa, which comments on the Parāyana (p.6 ff), does not comment on these stanzas.
