1. Paṭhama, Dutiya Kassapa Sutta.– Two suttas containing an account of the visit paid to the Buddha by Kassapa, the devaputta (q.v.) S.i.46 f
2. Kassapa Sutta.– Contains the thoughts that came to Kassapa Buddha, before his Enlightenment, on the nature of becoming, of cessation, etc., (S.ii.9; cf. D.ii.30 f ). The same thoughts are also attributed to the other Buddhas, from Vipassī onwards.¹ For details see the Gotama Sutta (S.ii.9).
