Chaḷaṅga

A Brahmin of Haṃsavatī.

He had one thousand eight hundred pupils with whose assistance he built a bridge over the Bhagīrathī for Padumuttara Buddha and his disciples.

He was a previous birth of Dhotaka Thera. Ap.ii.344.
