Sājīva Sutta

Five qualities that make a monk an example to his fellows in the holy life:

1. he is endowed with virtue (sīlasampanno) and can answer questions on virtue,
2. he is endowed with concentration (samādhisampanno) and can answer questions on concentration,
3. he is endowed with wisdom (paññāsampanno) and can answer questions on wisdom,
4. he is endowed with liberation (vimuttisampanno) and can answer questions on liberation,
5. he is endowed with knowledge of liberation (vimutti-ñāṇa-dassana-sampanno) and can answer questions on the knowledge of liberation. A.iii.81.
