Pāṭalipūjaka Thera

1. Pāṭalipūjaka Thera.– An Arahant. Thirty-one world-cycles ago he carried some pāṭali flowers on his head and offered them to Vessabhū Buddha. Ap.i.224 f.

2. Pāṭalipūjaka Thera.– An Arahant. In the past, while going from Bandhumatī to bathe in the river, with three trumpet flowers (pāṭali) in his waist, he saw Vipassī Buddha entering the city and offered him the flowers. Ap.i.290.
