Ovāda Sutta
1. Ovāda Sutta.– Mahā-Kassapa approaches the Buddha in the Bamboo grove (Veḷuvana) at Rājagaha to report a bhikkhu named Bhaṇḍa who was disputing with Abhiñjika, a co-resident of Ānanda, and a co-resident of Anuruddha. The Buddha summons them and admonishes them. S.ii.203.
2. Dutiya Ovāda Sutta.– Mahā-Kassapa approaches the Buddha and enumerates the qualities that make bhikkhus difficult to admonish. (S.ii.205)
3. Tatiya Ovāda Sutta.– Mahā-Kassapa approaches the Buddha and enumerates further qualities that make bhikkhus difficult to admonish. S.ii.208)
4. Ovāda Sutta.– The Buddha explains to Ānanda, in answer to a question, the eight qualities necessary in a monk in order for him to be appointed spiritual adviser to his fellows. A.iv.279 f.
