Kosambī Sutta

Venerable Paviṭṭha, staying in the Ghositārāma at Kosambī, asks Venerable Musila about the Law of Dependent Origination (paṭicca­samuppāda), and discovers from the answers given that Venerable Musila is an Arahant. Venerable Paviṭṭha asks Venerable Nārada the same questions at the latter’s own request and receives the same answers; but Venerable Nārada declares that he is not an Arahant. Venerable Ānanda is also present and joins in the discussion. S.ii.115 f.
