Khaṇḍadeva
A monk. He had been a disciple of the Buddha and was born in the Avihā Brahma-world, where he attained to Arahantship at the moment of his birth. He is mentioned with six others, all in like circumstances, by Ghaṭīkāra, on the occasion of a visit he paid to the Buddha. S.i.35, 60; ThigA.222.
