Kāḷadīghavāpi
A lake, evidently in Sri Lanka. Cūḷapiṇḍapātika-Tissa saw an elephant’s corpse floating in the lake and made it his subject of meditation for Arahantship. Vism.i.191.
There was evidently a vihāra attached to it. The Majjhimanikāya Commentary (MA.i.353 f) gives a story of a novice who lived there.
