King of Sri Lanka (1047‑51 A.C.). He came from Ayojjhā, and claimed descent from the race of Rāma. Having slain Vikkamapaṇḍu he ruled in Rohaṇa until he himself was slain by the Coḷā (Cv.lvi.13 f).
He had a daughter named Līlāvatī, who later became the consort of Vijayabāhu I. Cv.lix.23 f.
