1. Gaṅgeyya.– An adjective formed from Gaṅga (J.ii.151). The description “Gaṅgeyya nāgaraja” in J.iii.362 probably means a nāga king “dwelling in Gaṅga” and not “named Gaṅgeyya.”
2. Gaṅgeyya.– One of the ten families of elephants. Each elephant had the strength of one hundred men. MA.i.262; AA.ii.822; BuA.37.
