A group of warriors (khattiya), owners of the Anaka-
Buddhaghosa says (SA.ii.167) they were so called because they took one tenth of the corn (sassato dasabhāgaṃ ganhiṃsu, tasmā Dasārahā ti paññāyiṃsu).
In the Kakkaṭa Jātaka (J.ii.344) they are referred to as the “dasabhātikarājāno.”
