1. Ayonisomanasikāra Sutta.– In one who practices unsystematic attention, sensual desires arise afresh and grow; similarly malevolence, sloth and torpor.
The reverse happens in the case of one who practises systematic attention. The hindrances fade away, and the seven factors of enlightenment develop and come to maturity. S.i.84.
