Ambadāyaka Thera
An Arahant. He had been a monkey in the time of Anomadassī Buddha and, having seen the Buddha in Himavā, offered him a mango fruit.
As a result of this he enjoyed happiness in deva worlds for fifty-seven world-cycles and was fourteen times king under the name of Ambaṭṭhaja. Ap.i.116‑17.
