Vajira

1. Vajira.– A general (senāpati) of Dappula II. He built Kacchavāla-vihāra for the Pamsukūlins. Cv.xlix.80.

2. Vajira.– A minister of Sena I. He built for the monks a dwelling house called Vajirasenaka. Cv.i.84.

3. Vajira.– A teacher who wrote a Commentary to the work of Jaṅghadāsa. Gv.74.

4. Vajira.– One of the seven yakkhas, guardians of Jotika’s palace. He stood at the third gate and had a retinue of three thousand. DhA.iv.209.
