Ekavihāriya

1. Ekavihāriya Thera.– An Arahant. In the time of Kassapa Buddha he entered the Order and dwelt in solitude. In this life, too, he was fond of dwelling alone. Ap.ii.390 f.

2. Ekavihāriya.– A monk greatly famed for his love of solitude. When they told the Buddha of him, the Buddha sang his praises in the midst of the assembly. DhA.iii.471 f.

3. Ekavihāriya.– See Tissakumāra, brother of Asoka.
